Cross Country
Bianca Guzman, our Director of Admissions, is the Cross Country Coach for Bayshore Christian School. Cross Country improves physical fitness, builds endurance and strength, fosters discipline and resilience, and assists in developing time management skills and a strong work ethic. The team environment encourages camaraderie, creating lasting friendships and a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Golf
Logan Johnston is in his first year as golf coach at Bayshore Christian School. Golf requires precision and concentration, helps develop better discipline and patience, and encourages strategic thinking and resilience. All skills that are beneficial both on and off the course. Additionally, participating in the team fosters fellowship and teamwork. Students in 6th - 12th grade are eligible to join the team.
VOLLEYBALL
Our Head of School, Melanie Humenansky, has been the head volleyball coach at BCS for about 29 years. She has coached young ladies of all ages and all skill levels. It is her personal philosophy that it is not necessarily the best athletes that make the best team members, but the hardest workers and most committed individuals. Hard work and dedication take teams beyond their dreams. We learned this when we won our first State title in 1998 and experienced it time and time again in 1998, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2007. Volleyball is a team sport and teaches young ladies to work collaboratively and improve both as a team and as individuals. At Bayshore, we develop the entire player with our programs in 5th through 12th grades. We offer three teams—Middle School, J.V., and Varsity—enabling players to develop at their individual skill level. We take our J.V. and Varsity teams to volleyball camp each summer and motivate our athletes to participate in a variety of sports to develop the entire athlete. The Bayshore volleyball program has a legacy of winning with determination and hard work. Come join us to be a part of a winning program.
