Bayshore Christian School opened its doors in August 1971.
Although the school has grown and changed in many ways, our desire is still the same: to see students educated with a Christian foundation who graduate prepared to succeed in the college/university of their choice and to impact the world around them.
We are accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and AdvancED. We believe in the process of self-evaluation, and as a school, we are committed to getting better and better each year.
BCS is the premier private Christian school in the greater Tampa Bay area, and offers a comprehensive college preparatory program including leadership development, academics, athletics, and the arts for students two years old through 12th grade.
For the 2024-2025 school year, our focus is on this verse: “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.” Ephesians 6:11
